Very disappointing and confusing to see. No board members voiced their direct opinion with reasoning on why they are wanting to deny what seems to be a unique and great project for the area and local economy. It seems as if this meeting was so long the board of supervisors just wanted to get it over with. In addition one of the board members didn't even attend the entire meeting or have a vote?? Very unprofessional. Very suspicious to see something that was voted 7-0 get denied to an 0-4 vote ??? Has this ever happened before? Sad to see as a resident of the county and Native Arizonian.

With respect to Case No ZC-20-013 request for change of zoning. I am very against this. My husband and I purchased our property because of the natural environment. The Bellemont Area Plan supported this. ORV’s, 4 quads and hunters abuse this land. Any color brick walls are going to ruin the natural environment. This is overbuilding the land. DO NOT put a fence up there. You need strict restrictions on the use of this land. I can cite incident after incident. We already have a Truck stop out here. We don’t need a junk yard. You need to rethink what you are doing. That lans is not vacant. It is heavily used be birds, people, bikers, hikers, women, children and families. This is valuable land. It is depreciating my property values.Any building behind me will block any sunlight from getting on this property. I live to the east of this long high structure and would see it directly.

I have sandbagged many years. We never tie our bags as there just isn't time with the rivers rising quickly. We fill 2/3s full and FOLD the top over and placing the fold on the bottom. If available we also start by placing bags on plastic sheeting for better protection. We have actually built walls up to 12 feet in height and held the water back.

Tenants should have rights & should have availability to attorneys who can help them in court. Sadly, Arizona is a Landlord state & tenants don't have a chance. Tenants need attorneys that are affordable & good, &/or paid for with taxes.

U mention if the tenant is unsure of something in lease - to ask for an explanation - large apartment complexes have created leases specifically so tenants cannot understand them, &, make them 30-50 pages long so the tenants will not have time to read them. Then, when the tenant asks the mgmt company to explain anything in the lease, the tenant is told they do not have to explain it to them & they (the tenant) should get an attorney to explain it to them. Large apartment complexes are creating their own laws now in these outrageous leases. Tenants have no rights with them.
